We collect less because less can go wrong.

You can read every public guide without an account. Checklist progress stays in your browser and is not sent to Chore School.

Pilot reports

If you suggest a job we should teach, we store your description, its broad school topic, the page you submitted from, and the date in a Chore School database hosted by Cloudflare. Please do not include names or private information. Reports are private, used to choose future guides, and are not published. We plan to delete pilot reports after 12 months unless they are needed to investigate abuse or a legal request.

Email interest

If you use the interest register or separately choose email updates with a report, we store your email address with the broad school topic and the page you submitted from. It is kept apart from report text. Cloudflare Email Service sends a one-to-one verification message; we store only a hash of the 24-hour link and limit repeat sends. Confirming the link marks the address as verified. We will not send marketing updates until an unsubscribe option and a suitable newsletter service exist. We have not chosen a marketing email provider yet. You can request deletion at any time.

Sharing and analytics

You can choose an incident, preview a Chore School notice, and share its public guide yourself. We do not ask for or store the recipient’s name or address, or send them a message. The incident is represented by a non-personal label in the link. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for page visits and performance. We also retain daily totals for events such as guide starts, completions, intervention-desk opens, shares, report submissions, and interest-form submissions, grouped by page and broad referral channel. Those totals contain no email address, report text, exercise answers, IP address, or persistent visitor identifier. They are counts of actions, not unique people.

Digital admission

Pass purchases are not open yet. When they open, Stripe will process payment and Chore School will keep the buyer email from checkout, recipient name and message, payment reference, redemption date, and certificate status to provide the pass and handle support or refunds. We will publish retention and deletion details before taking payment. Pass progress stays in the learner’s browser; assessment answers are checked but not stored.

Security checks

The report and interest forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent automated submissions. Cloudflare processes the check; Chore School does not store the visitor’s IP address with a report or interest record.
